The Marvelous Land of Oz

This is a SIMGENS scenario based on the story The Marvelous Land of Oz by L. Frank Baum. It illustrates how a fairy tale may be easily adapted for play using SIMGENS.

GM Information: The following document is mainly for the GM. It provides the story outline and describes the non-player characters.

Player Characters: The following documents describe the player characters and may be provided as player handouts.

Skills: In the player character descriptions, skills are denoted like this:

Discerning (Intuition): 4 (6)

This means that the name of the skill is Discerning, the correlated ability (see SIMGENS rules § 3.2) is Intuition, the skill is 4, and the average of that skill with the Intuition score is 6. This average is typically the competency level used to determine success in use of the skill (see SIMGENS rules § 3.4).

The core skills are borrowed from my AD&DR rules, so you can read those to find out more about how I intended the skills to be used. But most of them are obvious from their names.
